What brand of jeans are good for my body type?

I am 5′ 8" and I am a size 10/11. (It varies from brand to brand.) I have No hips and a flat butt. All the jeans I have tried on end up giving me a lot of extra fabric in the front because I have no hips or butt. Basically I need a good pair of jeans for someone without a butt.
All suggestions are appreciated.

I like the answer above, I think I might try them out. Otherwise I can tell you that I have a similar build and I often buy guys jeans. I love them for the fit and also that come in lengths so I don’t have to worry about that. I’ve had really good luck with good old Levi’s 501s but I have thinner legs and they don’t fit well if you have larger calves.

Between Fad and Fashion: Know the Difference

Fashion is always changing and you sometimes end up not being able to catch up with it. How many times have you bought a new outfit and ended up just wearing it once because it was no longer in fashion? Were there times that you bought a lot of stuff that ended up at the back of your closet, never to see daylight again? Don’t you just cringe when you remember what you wore it once just because it was the “trend”?

With the way fashion changes in an instant, it becomes really difficult to distinguish which is fad and which is true fashion. You most probably end up buying tons of stuff that you never get to wear the next year or worse, the next week, and thus, were not worth the money that you paid for them. Here are some tips to help you all along.

Know the Trend, Know Yourself

It is actually very easy to know what the next trend is going to be. You get a hint of this when you watch popular television shows and observe famous actors and actresses. Celebrities are usually the ones who promotes a new trend and if you don’t really like gossiping about their lives, then think that this is one way of finding out what the next fashion is going to be.

Finding what’s popular now is actually very easy. You will see images in magazines, designs copied in stores and the most telling part is when somebody you know is wearing them. The important question to ask yourself is, “Can I wear them?” and “Will I have the opportunity to wear it?”

Don’t just buy something because it is the new trend without being sure yourself that you can wear it. Don’t just stash it in the far corners of your closet thinking that you could probably put it to good use someday. There is really no point in buying something that you are not sure you could wear.

Keep Up with Fashion, Ignore the Fad

It is very tempting to buy the latest skinny jeans or indulge in a pair of espadrilles but you should stock up on the basics and classic pieces first. Classic pieces like the little black dress, black slacks, white button down shirt, jeans and a black pencil skirt are fashion pieces that never go out of style.

For example, leopard prints are the latest trend and you want to try the look out. Instead of buying every article of clothing that has a leopard print in it, why not buy a few accessory pieces or two just to satisfy your curiosity and give you that updated, new fashion look? You can buy headbands with leopard prints or pumps with leopard prints and pair those up with classic pieces like a pair of jeans and a white button down shirt.

Don’t get caught up in fashion to the point that you don’t get to decide yourself if you look good or not. Know yourself, know your body and decide to wear what you like and what looks great. Sometimes, fashion is just all about common sense.

How to Present a Business Presentation in Four Steps

Step 1

When I was doing network marketing, I used to invite prospects to my home. They all thought they were in for a formal business meeting and arrived in suits and ties. I always thought because it was a home meeting they would arrive in very relaxed clothing. Because of this, I used to really dress down by wearing a sweatshirt and jeans. This made both  of us feel awkward. I stopped wearing that sweat shirt and jeans and started meeting them half way. I began wearing a nice pair of pants and a nice golf shirt. Sometimes you need to compromise.

Step 2

You Need To Make Presentations Without Using Excessive Written Aids

You need to demonstrate to your prospect that you know your stuff. How do you expect your prospect to think of you as their upline if you don’t show a good working  knowledge of your business and are competent enough to explain it without a lot of notes and charts. Sure, you can use them to supplement your presentation, but don’t let them dominate the meeting. When you first start out with a new program, learn as much about it as you can and convey that knowledge and your competence to your prospect. That way your prospect will gain confidence in you and his ability to be successful in the business knowing that he has someone to steer him in the right direction and give excellent guidance.

Step 3

Be Prepared To Ask Prospect Intelligent Questions And Be A Good Listener And Responder To Their Questions

This all goes back to knowing your stuff and being able to ask the pertinent questions about the business and respond accordingly to their questions. If you don’t come across as knowing what you are talking about, the person will lose faith in your ability to advise them. You must know the right questions to ask to determine if this person really has what it takes to be successful. If it appears he is not all that serious and probably not put in the necessary time and effort, he is of no use to you. In case this you should be honest and tell the person that the two of you would not be a good fit and end the meeting in an amicable, friendly way,

Step 4

If Meeting Goes Well, Try To Close Him

If you determine that this person will benefit from being on your team and vice-versa, don’t be afraid to ask him on the spot to sign up. There is no reason to waste any time. Be affirmative and go for a committal. If person wants to think it over, be gracious and tell him to take as long as he need to decide. Just try to get him to join you at end of meeting. You have nothing to lose by trying. If you don’t ask them to join, who else is? You have to make an attempt to close the deal. Tell the person everything you will do for them to help make them successful. Be prepared to handle any obstacles that the person brings up. If you know your business, this should not be difficult. All objections that the person has should come out at this meeting and be met head on and eliminated.

Weight Loss-the Biggest Cardio Mistake

If you have been working out for a while and are either trying to cut fat, tone up or just plain drop a few pounds – traditional cardio workouts are going to leave you with fewer hours in the day and not much of a change in BMI.

I don’t know about you, but doing thirty minutes to an hour of cardio a day is just plain boring, not to mention its not going to get you the results you want.  However, if you are willing to commit to twenty minutes a day, four days a week, for the next eight weeks, then you can have the results you are looking for.

If you are just starting out – get on that stationery bike and ride like the wind.

Low intensity cardio is boring, burns muscle, and does not produce results in people with a solid fitness foundation.

So what is the alternative?  The absolute best way to shed excess body fat is High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT).   It is an aerobic program designed to raise your metabolism for hours after you are finished training.  In research, HIIT has been shown to burn as much as twice the body fat compared to a low intensity cardio.  HIIT has also been proven to raise your metabolism for hours after you are finished training.  So, you no longer need to look at the read out on the machine to know how many calories you burned, you just need to look in the mirror.

In order to start your HIIT program you first need to pick your exercise.  I prefer to use an elliptical machine because it is less damaging on the joints than a treadmill and can give constant resistance, but you can use whatever you want.  Just remember that you need to crank up the resistance.

For the first two weeks, start at a jog that is about fifty percent as fast as you can run full speed for that same amount of time.  Continue at 50%  for three minutes thirty seconds.  Then sprint at about 90% of your maximum for thirty seconds.  Repeat this cycle of 50% for 3 minutes and 90% for 30 seconds for twenty minutes.

For the next two weeks, jog for three minutes and sprint for thirty seconds repeating until you reach twenty minutes.  Weeks five and six, jog for two minutes and sprint for thirty seconds repeating until you reach twenty minutes.  Weeks seven and eight, jog for one minute and sprint for thirty seconds repeating for twenty minutes.  Sprinting is very intense, and if you have not done it in a while you should ease into this program.

This is one of those “muscle defining” moments.  You may want to take a before and after shot; at the very least, save up for some new jeans – you’re going to need them!
